Alex,Could you please list the explicit instructions that a national body should follow in order to let JTC1/ISO/IEC know that the country has changed its vote on OOXML/DIS 29500? Is it an online action or are they supposed to send email to someone? Thanks.

@ykYes, it was good to meet you last week. Thanks for blogging responsibly too (note to readers: this does not imply that I endorse the opinions in Yoon-Kit's blog).
@Bob
I believe FAQ item 6.3 answers your question. There is more detail on the SC 34 Home Page. Note the deadline is midnight CET on 29 March 2008.

Alex,when you described the notes of the meeting as 'edited' does that mean 'with some typos fixed' or does it mean 'with some bits censored'. I am pretty confident that the edits are on the typo end of the spectrum but it would be good to have a confirmation that this is a full and true account of the meeting and nothing of substance has been edited out. I am quite prepared to assume the best, others are quite prepared to assume the worst.

@AlanI haven't done a side-by-side comparison but it just means "tidied up"; the unedited drafts (for the end of each day) are available on the BRM site and all NBs have access to them for comparison, so we'll hear fairly soon I'm sure if there are juicy differences (hint: there aren't).

Alex - thanks very much for this.Now the thing needed to ensure public confidence in the process is unedited release of the audio that was recorded. At present the DIS 29500 process has some credibility problems, and this is what would be needed to alleviate those. Not releasing it would, unfortunately, be taken as having something important to hide.

@DavidAs was made clear at the BRM, the audio will not be released.
All of the outcomes of the BRM are well captured by the output documents of the meeting.
